Pod Wrangler Position (Senior Management)

This senior management position (The Pod Wrangler) models, cultivates and supports a collaborative working environment.  Accountability is important in our community to ensure the health and wellness of all members. The Pod Wrangler aims to ensure community health by providing support and guidance to the Leadership & Development staff. Pod Wranglers mentor Leadership & Development staff so that they can evolve and improve their skills, ensure their work is accurately completed and so that the Leadership & Development Staff understands the scope of their work.

The Pod Wrangler ensures the timely completion of admin work, coordinates mentorship and training for the Leadership & Development Team. 

Pod Wranglers provide 1:1 support to Leadership Team members to ensure effective management of their teams. 

Pod Wranglers will work collaboratively with the Directors, People Wrangler, and Admin team to ensure Leadership & Development staff receive assistance and knowledge in the performance of their jobs. 

 Pod Wranglers also provide direct supervision to one support team, person and their family in keeping with the belief that we are best able to mentor and guide people when we share in their experiences

Supervision Duties:

  •  Provide direct supervision, support, and mentorship to the Leadership & Development Persons within the Pods they supervise. 

  • Attend team meetings to provide support and mentorship to Leadership & Development Person, to assess the health of teams and their compliance to service plans and ethical standards of practice 

  •  Attend Performance Support Tracker or Disciplinary Action meetings with People Wrangler and/or Directors

  • When any Pod Wrangler is aware that there is any community member in an ethically, legal or moral questionable position that they have a responsibility to immediately report any of those circumstances to the Directors.  

Other Position Duties

  • Ensure that Leadership & Development staff have up-to-date, accurate, ethical, and appropriate master files, communication log, log notes, and all other relevant admin work completed

  • Run weekly Pod Meetings, complete Pod Team Meeting Frameworks and email them to the Administration Team immediately after the meeting

  • Participation in a phone on-call support position

  • This position may include some evening and weekend work

  • Ensure the People Wrangler has all relevant information as it relates to Human Resource practices and procedures.

All supervisory staff at Neighborhood Bridges participate in a rotational On Call team to support community wellness.  This is a full-time, salaried position with a 37.5 hour work week and includes a comprehensive benefits package

Current Police Information Check and Child Welfare Intervention Record Check are required.
